I'm too lazy to go through and copy and past and post all the photos, but I thought I would share with all of you a book I made a couple years ago for a school project.

It's mainly photography, with a bit of writing also. It talks about 5 hilltowns in central Italy: Civita di Bagnoregio, Orvieto, Urbino, Macerata, and Spoleto. Some of the photos are better than others, as I made it with what I had on hand. Eventually I'd like to re-visit the towns (although I've certainally been back to Macerata many times, I never think to carry my camera with me while I'm there) and add to the book, perhaps also adding some other cities - there are so many beautiful hill towns! But then again this is just one more thing on a long list of things to do and who knows when I'll be able to :D

I've got it online in PDF format located

Take a look if you like, and let me know what you think!
(remember, it's meant to be viewed as a printed book, not a pdf so some parts may seem strange!)

hmmmm okay. There could be a couple reasons why it's happening. First, some browsers automatically open a pdf in the browser window (like mine), others will download it instead, leaving you with a blank window. So try checking your desktop of downloads folder to see if it is in there.

Next thing to try is to right-click on the link and select to save the linked file instead of opening it. This will save it to your computer and then you can open and view it.

Hope that helps!

Lori

I got it! It is beautiful. Thank you so much! I did not get the chance to read it all, but looked at the pictures and looked at the format of you book. Well nicely put together.

For me it was a bit slow to load, but I got it. It looked blank, but then I noticed reduced pages to click on the left side and when I clicked on them they enlarged .... I know I am doing a terrible job at explaining. What I am saying... don't give up... wait a little for it to load and then scroll not only up and down, but also side to side... and you will see what I mean...

Maria

ah yes, download time. the file is a little big! probably a much faster download time for me since the server is in the next room :D didnt think about that

Thanks everyone for the comments! There are definitely some parts of it I'd like to re-do (not to mention a few pics I cheated on and said they were from a different city just to fill it out a bit - but hey, it was a school project, it was okay :D )

If only I could just live off of making books like that! then I would be happy Dancing

Lori
