Gunne Sax brand dresses from the late 70's are now being sold for hundreds of dollars on e-Bay. I wish I would've kept the one I had.

They were romantic, feminine dresses that tied in the back and looked like something a stylish but wealthy pioneer woman would've worn. They came to about ankle length and featured small floral prints with lace trims.

Did any of you wear them?

Can't say I remember those Angel but I do think it's funny how things from out past that were just "regular" come back as being fashionable and high price! I still laugh when I think of how a few years ago I saw DARE (yes, Drug Abuse Resistance Education t-shirts, the ones they used to hand out to school kids... and possibly still do) on sale in Italy for about 40euro's! Made me wish I had kept mine, might have made some money! It's crazy how much they cost there, as here you can walk into almost any GoodWill and pick one up for a couple bucks Shhh

I'm not surprised that you "can't remember" those dresses Lori. They were from the late 70's.

I loved wearing those big floppy hats Deb. I had [CENSORED] straight waist length blonde hair in those days.

The only celebrity people ever said I looked like was Cher when I had my long hair dark.

That haircut and the wry smile make me think of a young Jane Fonda!

Hmmmmmmmmm.......interesting.......Jane Fonda? She did have a shag haircut in Klute.

She's not midget size though. I'm only 5'1" tall. Still ladies, that's a compliment even if she is "Hanoi Jane."

I saw her on Oprah last year when she was talking about her 11 year old son being killed in a plane crash! It was devastating to listen to. She's still a very beautiful and courageous woman.

i had heard about her being on Oprah and discussing this plane crash but I didn't get to see the show.

Wasn't she paired with Dennis Weaver on a TV show? Was it MacMillen and Wife? If she is about my age I really can't imagine being paired with a man that age no matter how attractive he is!! It creeps me out! That would be like dating your father!! Yikes! What is Hollyweird thinking with these pairings of old, has been men and younger women?
