I should have posted this earlier in time for Easter.

I have a knitting pattern for making little chickens and then you fill them with some small chocolate eggs.

I'll post the pattern tomorrow, meantime I'll post the photograph of the ones I've knitted for my grandchildren (the lables around the necks of the chickens will have their names on them) Inside the small individual chicks I've put in some money and the big one has lots of small chocolate Easter eggsfor them to share.

Emmy, a girlfriend taught me some basic knitting in grade school but I cannot remember how to do it. Crocheting is different and that's something I do NOT know how to do............but you can go ahead and do it for us. Whistle

But Emmy, this is crocheting, not knitting, right? Crochet needles are shorter aren't they?

Yes and they have a hook on one end. Also, when one crochets they use one needle. From what I remember.

I think my Mother tried to teach my brother and me to at least crochet when she was teaching our sisters. We were slow learners.
