My fruit trees have been a riot of blossoms this last week. I had them pruned a few weeks ago and asked the guy to prune them pretty hard - and wow, did it pay off... look at them now:

This first one is of two of the plum trees - one yellow and the other black. Last year there were only two plums between the two, and a bird got them both!

This picture shows the two quince bushes with orange/red blossoms and jut in fron in the shade is a small ornamental cherry.

Out of shot of these two pictures is my peach tree, two apple trees and an ancient grape vine that last year gave me pounds and pounds of really sweet black grapes called 'fragolina'. This means strawberry, because the grapes have a 'hint' of strawberries whenyou eat them...

I've also had all my blue hydrangeas pruned back and the white and purple hibiscus, so with any luck this year I should have a really good show. It only remains for my neighbours to finish buiding their new house and then I can get my garden put back in order...

Wonderful pictures, Carole!
You're lucky to have such trees with these delicious fruits!

Do you know that with grapes called "fragolina" it's possible to make a sweet wine called "fragolino"? It's taste is really good! Dancing

I know about the wine.... I have one bottle of it left (home made), and when you manage to get up here for a weekend we'll open it and sit on the terrace and drink it! So don't leave it too long!

That's a great idea!
But I hope that someone else will "help" us to drink it... because if we both are the only ones to drink that bottle of wine, I could start dancing on the table, because I can get drunk! frizzy Mr. Green

So Miss Simy... sweet hug

* I've got the booze - well one bottle of 'fragolino' (plus a few other odds and ends Lol-Lol that I haven't seen for ages).

* I've chosen 'my' feller. Dreamer

* You've chosen 'yours' (Raoul WHO?)

All that remains is the date of the weekend - right?

I'm sorry I was unable to make it before... but I reckon we've got to try again! SmilesDance
