Okay, so as not to post willy-nilly and to stay 'on-topic', I've moved my thread here for Kim's latest health problems that seem never-ending Boo hoo!

This has nothing to do with anything, but I'm too tired at the moment to hunt for any related posts ....

I called the diagnostic center yesterday to see if I could ask questions about my brain scans (a few in particular with 'dark areas' and/or white spots) ... and they said they could not give results, but they could tell me that if it were anything life-threatening, a doctor would have called me by now.

My concern is because some scans show "dark areas" or 'missing' sections in the back of my brain. I have a friend in Belgium who survived hemorrhaging in both hemispheres years ago, but he still has troubles from his brain injuries (from a fall), and from my descriptions he told me his concerns - that it could be from the cluster migraines we both suffer from, or it could be "something else" ..... the white spots could be just different kinds of brain tissue, or it could "scleroses" (scars) that are evidence of MS flare-ups. "Could be" a lot of things ... could be nothing at all (then why are portions of my brain dark or 'missing'?).

I have to wait until Tuesday (neurologist) to learn the meaning of those areas, but at least i know that if my life is in danger, I'll get a phone call first Eh? Think d'oh! Not talking

Kim - what I wrote on the other thread wasn't because you were off topic - you are after all one of the "Amici" founders. It was to make it easier for us not to lose touch with any problems you may be having. I suggested a specific link for you because I (like the others here) CARE! If I didn't care I wouldn't have mentioned it. I didn't want to cause offence - honestly Big Sad

Sorry for barking and being nasty ......

Big Sad snow bang incax Dunno Pernacchia Buttkick bash

That's my way of saying to lock me up in a padded room somewhere until I'm polite and pleasant enough to come out again and be among people ..... I feel like having a big huge temper tantrum complete with kicking, screaming, cursing, and beating the crap out of inanimate objects that make nice big noises .... but I'm tired and sick (it's going into my chest, I think) and not interested enough to do anything but read a book. Not talking

If I told everything going on at home, you'd want to gag me anyway. Silenced

Well if you need to 'vent' - or 'blow off steam' as we Brits say - then what better place to do it than here among friends.

It has always been my belief that it was when you were 'bad tempered', or 'crotchety' or 'grumpy' you would find out who your REAL friends were. They were the ones that stuck around despite your behaviour. Why? Because they understand....

Those who don't, aren't worth bothering with- believe me!

I second with Carole, Kim, if you need to vent, do it. Meanwhile I hope you get off your cold fast, but you know sometimes colds are a way for the body to tell the brain to stop and slow down, so I am glad you decide to park someplace and read a book.

Take care.

Hugs,
Maria
