I've just come in from the garden after doing a little bit of weeding. I'm thinking now I should have left them be. Seems they have 'paid me back' for disturbing them. Now I have a rash on my arm I've a feeling it could be off the nettles (but it doesnt feel like a nettle sting) or from cutting back a wild briar rose bush that seemed as though it had suddenly turned into a giant overnight Think
Must go and put some cream on it.

I'll have a few choice words to say to those bushes in that part of my garden next time I go out!!

I hope that the stinging is gone by the time you read this!

Very Happy Yes Gil the stinging/nippy feeling has gone but I'm left with lots of little spots on my arm just looks like as though I have had the measels Whistle but those bushes wont do that to me again in a hurry after I told them what I'd do to them if they ever try that again! Big Laugh

Maybe it is time for your son or helper to remove them?

Gil I know that's the right thing to do but I guess the older I'm getting the more stubborn and hard-headed I'm becoming about trying to do all these things myself, even although I really do have to rest in between- which is a good excuse for a coffee and something nice to go with it! Many of these bushes are just appearing I guess its the birds dropping seeds. I know I'd cope better if I had a small garden but I like the space and definatley wont consider moving to a smaller property.

Whistle Think Think Need to keep the space just in case I get a pig Think or some chickens Think or even some more rabbits and guinea pigs!! Or just in case I start up a rescue/holiday centre for them all Dancing Dancing
I've one here at the moment (the ferret) who comes for her holidays Dancing Dancing big problem though she always goes home with a fatter waistline!!-- she doesnt need to hunt rabbits after she's been here! Very Happy

Guess my 'kids' have going to have some problems Big Furios with their mum if I was to go ahead with this Big Laugh

How about a goat or two to eat the weeds? No guarantee that they won't eat other things too!
