This past week I've noticed the grass is beginning to grow again but the amount of moss in the greens is much more than ever before.
Wont be very long now until I have my friend back to do the cutting. When the weather is nice I prefer to be outdoors even if I can only do a little at a time. I've still got my lemon, fig, orange and olive trees in the conservatory but I feel I'd been taking a risk putting them outside just now guess I'll probably have to wait until April just to be sure. I noticed yesterday that my plum trees have tiny buds on them just praying that we dont get late frost like last year.
Noticed too with the weight of the snow we had I've got a broken pane of glass in the greenhouse roof which will need to be fixed before I go in side it to do some tidying up.

Sounds like you are a bit ahead of us. We still have snow on the ground on plenty of our lawn. The rest is brownish grass and the soil is real soft. Actually a lot of mud if you walk or drive on it. Stay warm.

Guess I spoke too soon. We've got snow again d'oh! and its very cold too. Sems it may be a repeat of last year and the plants that have started to show buds/growth are going to suffer once again. Just hope it doesnt last as long as it did when the snow came in November last year.
Yet wehen we see on tv what is happening in the other parts of the world we realy have nothing to complain about in fact right now I'm thinking I'm very lucky to be living in Scotland.

After seeing what they are going through in Japan and other countries I feel foolish about all my complaining about the weather we've had!!!
