I think as soon as you get your telescope together you will have a good time - there is a lot to see and a nice summer night would be relaxing. Someone who knows how to find the objects will make it easier. I still don't know how to set up the mechanism to track while the earth moves.
Those temps are about what we have been having here during the day. It's just the wind that can make a difference - arctic from Canada, from the West, or flowing over Lake Ontario to bring lake effect. This last one was from the South, meeting another from the West. All gone now and the lake effect skipped right over us and is hitting Ithaca - lots of hills down there at the south end of Cayuga Lake - Cornell must be covered.
Gil must have gotten a mess too. My cousin Carol lives out there too.
It is my cousin's mother-in-law who will be 100 - my mother is only 97. Her main thing today was getting to the chapel for the devotional and wants to go tomorrow too. So I have a lot of shoveling to do again, plus tonight to put out the trash yet.
One of my cousin's sons works for the city and joked about putting some candy on the trash bin for him - so I did and he missed seeing the package twice. Didn't want anyone else to see it. Maybe I should put a small sign that says "Tim" on it. The snow on top did not help.
Cats sleep because they know there's nothing better to do.
