It is interesting to find out the different customs other countries have. I do remember TV images of what you said Gil.
My neighbour was telling me this morning that we had hailstones last night - and I never noticed - I knew it had been raining because the ground was wet when I let the dogs out last night (must admit they did make it a bit wetter ) but we're certainly not getting that lovely sunny weather you're having Rosie.
Fingers crossed it will come here soon. My daughter was telling me it had been 29 degrees over there in France the other day.
ps the morning dew hasnt made any difference so far GGrrrr!!!! and here was me thinking miracles could still happen

It was cloudy today but very warm. Yesterday was a record 84 degrees here.
At 10:41 a.m., I went outside because I thought my neighbor's cat had died right in my back yard. He was sleeping and ran off. On my way back in one of the male hummingbirds that migrate here every year came right up to my face and then buzzed away. So folks, it's official, my hummers are back! This year I'm going to take photos of them.
