Today I went to the cemetry to visit Bob's grave. As well as having vases for flowers, around the headstone, a few years back, I had planted some minature daffodil bulbs etc and now every year they multiply and today there was 'a host of golden daffodils' (small ones) all out in flower around the grave and also some of the polyanthus and primrose plants from last year are out in flower again too surprising that they have survived the harsh weather we've had recently but it looked lovely, and it left me with a lovely contented feeling. All kinds of Nature's wonderful isnt it! I always take some evergreen cuttings from our garden for the vases because if I put in fresh flowers hard to believe but the rabbits EAT them -when some one told me this I just thought Hmm!! but one day I saw it for myself. (All the years I kept pet rabbits I had never known them to do anything like that.)
and I'm sure Bob wouldnt mind in the least sharing his flowers with them because he loved animals too but it would mean I
would have to go every few days to replace the flowers
so now I'm afraid the poor rabbits dont get their treats!!
