I asked how the guy got the sheep to stand still for it. "I guess that's what boots are for" was the response. These guys are forcing sheep - What say we contact the ACLU and bring lawsuits on behalf of the sheep. A little advocacy is in order.

I guess I'm awake because I'm almost addicted to this site....I can't believe how it's going - an so quickly. It's everything (I think) that the four of us hoped it would be - and more!

Now I AM going to bed....
Good Night

I don't know Shaun the sheep.... Tell me about him.

Carole, why do you think the sheep wouldn't appreciate our interference? Are you saying the sheep like it? Why don't we all invite a few over for cocktails and see what they have to say? Then we can report back and share the information we've gained.

Marisa6, all the pictures I've seen of Scotland, it shows few if any trees. Is that why the sheep have a hard time hiding?

Nuccia, guess I'm the guilty party for introducing a sheepish topic. Maybe all our ancestors were sheep. Could you help me trace my ancestors back to that first sheep? Ewe was her name, I think.

Hey Debs...this is just great. I can't imagine what Mom is going to say when she sees it all? I'll have to put off my call to you 'til afterwards so you can tell me all about it!

And you too Nuccia - Great work!!!!
Who knows, you may even find 'naughty Nina' yet . (yeah, right! LOL)

(BTW - Regarding my skeleton - the school IS on holiday, so no updates on that front until September!!!!)

Carole,

It sucks that you can't get any info from the school earlier! Sad The Giggest challenge I had with Debras search was the name changes which was simple since her family always lived in the same area...Your history is another matter!
Thank God for Trish is all I could think of when I read your post. That doesn't mean I've given up...

No I guessed you'd not given up. It's clear that the 'ball is in my court' now, so until I can add to what I do (or think) I know, then we are at a stop....
The trouble with the school is that being a boarding (mainly) school everyone, including the Headmistress is away for the summer break....

But thank you all for all your interest, when I get some update I'll get Nina's skeleton out of the cupboard and dust it off again!

Un abbraccio,
Carole B.
