Have you heard that many people say that if you talk to your plants they grow better? I talk to mine but maybe not in the way I should especially when they let the chickweed choke them I tell them they should fight back Whistle Whistle Whistle
Cant give them advice just now though, I had a sore throat when I got back from France and now I've 'LOST ' my voice. Guess the family as well as the plants will get a rest for a while.

I've heard it, but I've never tried. Then often I forget to give them some water Anxious , if they could ever talk, I'm sure to know what they would say.... Eh? d'oh!

My wife thinks it is her Brown instead of Green thumb. I'm going to tell her that the news on the television is what is probably killing the plants!

It could be that what we exhale, carbon dioxide, when we talk, is what makes plants grow well. I believe this is beneficial to plants.

You're correct Rosie, they take in carbon dioxide and give off oxygen.
So we benefit too. (Just hope I'm correct I was thinking back to when I did my Higher Biology but if I've got it wrong there is an excuse for me -because that was sooo long ago)

BUT I think I would have the plants dancing if I was talking to them after drinking a bottle of Whisky Silenced

Pity I will never find out. I'm T-total as they say here. I cant even take a glass of wine!!Grrrr!!!

If I take so much as a few sips of any alcohol I get sleepy and dizzy. I really don't like the taste of it so I guess that's a good thing.

Yes, you're right, we benefit from plants too. I often have thought that maybe because we live surrounded by hundreds of huge trees it has kept us so healthy.
