Yesterday an elderly gentleman who works as a tailor at the mens store across from me related this story:
His daughter is a police woman and was called to the bureau of motor vehicles because a woman refused to remove her burka for her driver's ID picture. The woman also called her husband who raised a fuss saying how he didn't like the way his wife was being treated. HELLO folks, this is the United States of America and OUR laws state that your face must show in your photo ID in order to drive a vehicle!!!
The police woman finds it ironic that her lady friend who lives and works in a middle eastern country is forced to cover herself up and obey THEIR laws.
By the way this elderly gentleman is an Italian immigrant. He finds no problem with our laws.

I agree with you.
I was saying that this woman should consider herself lucky to be in a country where she is given such priveledges and do what each and every other person has to do when having their photo taken ---- remove head coverings.
I don't think I've ever seen a man's ID with a baseball cap on. Same thing.
